Tree Canada is an equal opportunity and ascribes to the volunteer principles of Volunteer Canada. We provide a safe, inclusive and supervised working environment and welcome diversity in the workplace and encourage applications from all qualified candidates including women, members of visible minorities, persons with disabilities, and aboriginal peoples.

Tree Canada is also committed to developing inclusive, barrier-free selection processes and work environments. Benefits of volunteering with Tree Canada

Besides feeling good about contributing to something you believe in, there are many other benefits to volunteering with us, such as:

  • Learning new skills and gaining valuable work experience at a national environmental non-profit
  • Connecting and networking with professionals in the environmental field
  • Being a part of something bigger than ourselves and feeling good about it!

In order to volunteer with us, you may be asked to:

  • Acknowledge your age; Tree Canada volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Complete and sign a few forms; these forms will be mandatory in order to volunteer
  • Fill out a brief evaluation to help us improve our volunteer experiences

Thank you to our volunteers who have helped us this past year!

We wouldn’t be able to do the work we do without the help of the following individuals!

  • Gillian Cooper (Communications and Program Resources)
  • Teo Gazu (Guest blogger/writer)
  • Darren Daniel (Fund Development Volunteer)
  • Catherine Christoffersen (Volunteer writer and researcher)
