About this Award
The Tree Canada Urban Forestry Youth Volunteer Award recognizes outstanding volunteer services in urban forestry to the community by young Canadians between the ages of 15-24. More than one award per year will be considered. Volunteer services can be at the local, regional, provincial, national or international level.
Consideration will be given to involvement with community associations, NGOs, environmental groups, environmental history societies, political action groups, municipalities, charity activities, and any other similar organizations, provided they are engaged in and have an impact upon urban forestry.
Nominations must come from host organizations and address the significant contributions made by the individual they are nominating.
