Chief Program Officer

The Chief Program Officer will oversee the successful implementation of all Tree Canada’s reforestation, restoration and greening projects, in both rural and urban settings. This new executive role has the rare opportunity to make a positive impact on a meaningful scale.

About Tree Canada

Since 1992, Tree Canada has worked relentlessly to grow Canada’s tree canopy through its greening programs, research, and engagement efforts. We are the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments. Tree Canada’s track record of collaborating with all levels of government, the urban forestry sector, business partners, and community groups uniquely positions us to engage Canadians in the fight against climate change. Together we plant millions of trees each year, helping to grow resilient ecosystems and healthier, greener communities across Canada.

At this important juncture, fuelled by the recognition of our planetary urgency and the collective efforts of Tree Canada’s supporters – from valued sponsors and donors to local partners and staff – our growing team of 30 employees has developed an ambitious three-year plan to guide the organization’s work moving forward.
