Amber Brant, ISA

Program Manager

Amber is a proud member of the Tree Canada team, bringing a diverse background and experiences with forest research and urban forest management. She is an ISA certified arborist and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from Trent University and a Master of Science degree in Forestry from Lakehead University. Her experience working as a program coordinator for the Edmonton in Bloom council initiative for the City of Edmonton in Alberta brought many experiences working with community greening program development and delivery. Amber then went to work on naturalizing urban ecosystems under the Root for Trees volunteer tree planting program to convert vacant urban landscapes to thriving forests. Amber is an enthusiastic learner of forest management and education and is excited to join the team in 2020.
