Amelia graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a minor in Psychology. Her work experience includes a supervisory stint at the Museum of Civilization and box office work at the National Arts Centre. She is most proud of her involvement over several summers working on the front lines along the Ottawa River as part of a provincial program to eliminate an invasive species (Trapa natans) threatening the river. From the Ottawa Valley, Amelia loves nature, organizing special events and working with the public. She is adept at wilderness camping and canoeing.
