Tree Canada and CN Proudly Announce the Recipients of the 2021 CN EcoConnexions – From the Ground Up Program
MONTREAL, September 8, 2021— CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE: CNI) and Tree Canada, Canada’s leading national tree-planting charity, are pleased to announce today the names of the 26 communities that are being awarded tree planting grants of up to $25,000. These grants are a part of the CN EcoConnexions – From the Ground Up initiative that invests in community greening projects across Canada.

Thanks to CN’s environmental leadership, the CN EcoConnexions From the Ground Up initiative has been greening communities since 2012 with sustainable, environmentally responsible tree-planting projects. Tree Canada experts work closely with communities to make each project an opportunity for community members to gather and celebrate the benefits of trees and urban green spaces.
