Canadian Urban Forest Awards

Established in 2017, Tree Canada’s Canadian Urban Forest Awards (CUFA) is a program offered in correspondence with the Canadian Urban Forest Conference (CUFC). The awards are comprised of two recognition awards and two student bursaries.

Nominations for the Award of Distinction and the Student Bursary are now closed. All applicants will be notified by email before the end of June. Winners will be announced publicly at CUFC in October.

Award of Distinction

Recognizing excellence of leadership and significant contributions to Canadian urban forestry over fifteen years.

Available to two students in Canada (registered full-time in either an undergraduate or graduate program) who have demonstrated a strong commitment to urban forestry.
