How it works
Step 1: Submit an interest form
Tell us a bit about your organization and your goals. Our Development Team will follow up to learn more and begin planning your event.
Step 2: We handle the planning
Your team lead will be connected with our Program Team and a Tree Canada Forestry Specialist. Together, we’ll coordinate the site, schedule, and type of activity—tree planting or stewardship.
Step 3: We secure your site
We work with trusted planting partners to find a suitable location. Activities may include planting trees and shrubs, or stewardship tasks like watering, mulching, invasive species removal, and general tree care. We’ll tailor the activity to what’s needed at your selected site.
Step 4: Plant and nurture trees
On event day, our Forestry Specialist will be on-site to lead your team through the two-hour activity. Connect with nature, learn about the vital role of urban trees, and bond with your colleagues while making a meaningful impact!
Timelines
Partners in Planting events are available in both spring and fall—Canada’s annual planting seasons. Please allow three to four months of lead time so we can secure a suitable site and activity for your group.
