Greg Hotte

Greg Hotte joined Tree Canada in 2020, and became Chief Development Officer in September 2024.

Before coming to Tree Canada, Greg worked in the Social Services and Health Care sector where he was the Director of Corporate Philanthropy for a national charity. Before his time in not for profits, Greg worked as a Senior Manager in Corporate Sales and Sponsorship in professional sports, national events and entertainment for over 20 years. As a fundraising trainer Greg has hosted international fundraising conferences, and mentored development programs across the country.

Weekend farmers, Greg and his wife provide foster care for various animals in need and tend to their burgeoning forest, reclaimed heritage orchard and wetland areas. Working for Tree Canada allows Greg to combine his career path with his passion for the land.
