Kayleigh Hutt-Taylor
Kayleigh joins Tree Canada with strong research experience in urban ecology and socio-ecological systems. She brings specific expertise in ecosystem services, tree diversity and structure and science communication. Kayleigh completed her Masters in Urban Ecology at Concordia University and her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (CO-OP) at the University of Guelph. She has a particular passion for understanding the relationships between people and nature.
Kayleigh hopes to combine her love of research and desire to connect diverse communities with science to her role on Tree Canada’s Research and Engagement Team. She loves ultimate frisbee, running, all things outdoors (camping, backpacking, bikepacking, foraging) and volunteering with isolated seniors in Montreal. She’s excited to bring her enthusiasm and skill set to Tree Canada’s growing team!
