Marie-Louise Bédard & Audrée Guérin
Marie-Louise and Audrée work at Soverdi, a nonprofit organization that has been implementing urban greening strategies for 30 years to increase tree canopy and improve the health and well-being of the population. Marie-Louise, a professional horticulturist specializing in edible plants, is responsible for developing greening strategies within the Greater Montreal area and bridges various stakeholders through social impact projects for the Grand Montréal Urban Forest Alliance. Audrée, a technologist in horticultural and environmental production, manages the Replacement of Residential Ash Trees program for the City of Montreal and oversees greening projects for community plantations. Working together, they combine their expertise as Forestry Specialists for the Greater Montreal region.
