Paul Dickson

Paul has worked in fundraising, public engagement, communications, and stakeholder relations for over twenty years with organizations spanning academia, public libraries, healthcare, and international development. He’s particularly inspired by causes related to our natural world and climate change, human rights, water and food security, and Indigenous reconciliation.

Paul has a degree in international development and geography, and achieved fundraising executive accreditation in 2012. In joining Tree Canada, Paul is keen to help build awareness of the environmental and social good of trees and act as a conduit for philanthropy that will help grow better places to live.

He’s always respected nature, but regular hikes along local trails during the height of pandemic restrictions gave Paul an even greater appreciation of urban forests and their contributions to our mental health and wellbeing.
