Ricardo D’Aguiar
Ricardo joins Tree Canada with international experience in communications for the commercial and non-profit sectors. He has participated in multimedia projects in various countries and has been involved with Amerindian epistemologies and the global women’s movement. In his former role as Communications Officer for an international feminist think tank, he worked on various themes, including analysis of the disproportionate impacts of the climate crisis on women in the global South. Ricardo’s passion for ecology is what motivated him to join Tree Canada. Ricardo has a background in journalism and a Master of Arts degree in Media and International Development from the University of East Anglia, UK. In his spare time, he practices yoga, swims and explores new cooking recipes.
