Sheila Flint is a graduate of Guelph University in Park Horticulture. She is also an ISA Certified Arborist and a Journeyman Landscape Gardener.

Sheila has worked for Strathcona County, Recreation, Parks & Culture for over 30 years as the Foreman of Urban Forestry and Horticulture. She has established a tree maintenance and horticulture program for Strathcona County and was one of the first Certified Arborists in Alberta.

Sheila has recently retired from Strathcona County and works for Strathcona County, Transportation and Agriculture Services Department on a part time basis establishing an arboretum, orchard and community garden at an historic site called Bremner House.

Sheila’s passions have always centred around trees and anything growing! She has worked with Tree Canada for over 25 years on tree planting projects throughout Alberta and particularly Strathcona County.
