Guided Urban Tree Walk at Vickers Park

Event Description

Join EcoSuperior for a guided urban tree walk in celebration of National Tree Day! This free public event will explore the rich diversity of trees in Vickers Park, including many native species and notable ornamental trees.

Led by our Green Infrastructure Coordinator, Kathleen, this walk will highlight the ecological benefits of urban trees, from stormwater management and biodiversity to urban cooling and carbon storage. You’ll also learn how to identify common species and discover simple ways you can support the urban canopy in your own yard.
