Seed Gathering and Forecasting Hike: Explore, Learn, Collect!

Join us for a guided hike through beautiful Five Points Forest as we explore native trees and shrubs and collect seeds! These seeds contribute to growing programs and educational work at ReForest London’s Community Tree Nursery. This hands-on experience is perfect for nature enthusiasts, gardeners, and anyone curious about Carolinian tree and shrub seed collection and propagation.

Time: 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Location: Five Points Forest, 4975 Robinson Rd, Putnam
What to Bring: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes, water, snacks. ReForest London will provide gloves, containers for collection, and any tools required.

What to Expect:

• A moderate hike through one of TTLT’s protected nature reserves
• Tips on ethical and sustainable seed collection
• A chance to contribute to local biodiversity and tree planting efforts
