Tree Canada’s National Tree Day Planting Event in Edmonton – Wednesday

Event Description

Tree Canada, in collaboration with Root for Trees, is pleased to celebrate National Tree Day (NTD), presented by BMO. This is the biggest NTD celebration yet, with events taking place across the country during National Forest Week. Join us to plant trees at Terwillegar Park.Tree Canada experts and volunteers will be there to provide support and answer your tree questions. We’ll also provide gloves and shovels! This event is completely FREE!

Volunteers will help grow and expand the urban forest at Terwillegar Park. The addition of native species in the area will help to support wildlife, provide shade, and beautify the public park.
