Support tree planting efforts in Winnipeg
On September 25, 2019, the City of Winnipeg announced an initiative to grow Winnipeg’s tree canopy through the planting of one million trees over the next 20 years, thus launching the Winnipeg One Million Tree Challenge.
The One Million Tree Challenge asks residents, not-for-profit agencies, and private businesses to get involved by planting trees, volunteering, and donating through Tree Canada before Winnipeg reaches the one million population milestone around 2040.
