Measure, Mulch and Moisture

Event Description

Classes choose a tree from our school canopy to give some care. Students determine how much mulch to give each tree using measuring tools. They learn about the benefits and best practices of mulching. Weeding is done to clear the base of the tree. They collaborate to move their mulch using buckets and tools. Finally they water their tree. Students are encourage to learn more about their tree.
