From 3 to 5 pm on September.20th join us at one of the following three planting locations in Corner Brook, NL: Griffin Drive Parking Lot (around the 3 art pieces), Broadway (Green space across from upper Sobeys entrance), and the Centre for Research and Innovation.

There will be tree seedlings for you and your friends and family to plant together and some instructions on how to take your own tree seedling home to plant.
Each group or individual(s) in attendance will receive a seedling and a beautiful plantable seed card to take home with them.

As well, there will be outdoor activity sheets available for children (of all ages) to complete and enjoy their time outdoors!

From 6 to 8 pm on September.20th join our Sustainable Development Coordinator, Kirstin Mercer, at the Center for Research and Innovation on the second floor presentation area, to learn about the ongoing tree project known as ‘the 2 Billion Trees Project’ and how Corner Brook is participating in the Canada-wide 3.2 billion invested project tackling climate change and biodiversity loss in our forests.

Each group or individual(s) in attendance will receive a seedling and a beautiful plantable seed card to take home with them should they of missed the tree planting event earlier in the day!
