Growing Together, Planting Trees at Sedgewick Lake Park

Event Description

This year Sedgewick Lake Park has had to take out several extra large trees for safety purposes, Now to replant! The Sedgewick Lake Park Board in partnership with Gibson Energy and other Flagstaff County businesses and organizations are working together to bring us this years tree planting – happening on National Tree Day!

Dig in and get your hands dirty for a cause. Saturday at 10:00am, Carol MacRae from The Tree Corral will start us off with a demonstration of proper planting.
After the demonstration, join us in celebrating National Tree Day by planting trees throughout our park. Bring your shovels, watering cans and all your favorite people. Together, we can make a difference.
